Long time New Orleans transplant Ben Fox grew up in the SF Bay Area, listening to the varied sounds of Mingus and Monteverdi, Tower of Power and Tool. After transferring from Los Angeles to New York for college, he spent the early 2010s touring and playing with folk, bluegrass and traditional jazz bands out of New York and Seattle before settling in New Orleans.
In addition to writing and recording his own music Ben Fox is a prolific sideman for bands all over New Orleans.
